Souvenir glasses

About 5 years ago, I came across this Flintstones souvenir glass at a thrift store. I really had no use for it, but I loved the look of it. My purchase was probably part nostalgia too, since my family had gone to Bedrock City when I was young. Not long after that a neighbor was having a rummage sale and they had the Wisconsin Dells glass. Fresh off a trip to the Dells, I had to have that glass too. I loved the old touristy sites shown on the glass. And not one waterslide.

It wasn't long and I was looking for glasses for all the states. I absolutely love the look of the glasses and they look great all together. I could easily get all the states by visiting a few antiques stores, but they're usually about $8/glass. I found most of my glasses at thrift stores and rummages sales for $1-$2 each or received them as gifts. It takes a lot longer to build the collection this way, but it's a lot more fun! The thrill is in the hunt, after all. The one exception to the rule would be my Lookout Mountain glass. That's a special place to my husband and I so I paid more for that one.

  1. I love these glasses too! Mom got me some Mighican ones, and I absolutely adore them. I use them as vases when I can :) Love you swizzle stick collection as well!
